Casey MacKenzie Johnson is a Californian artist, photographer and bleeding heart splitting her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and London.
Casey grew up in a family that values critical and creative thinking and spent much of her childhood sitting an a darkroom or library asking her scientist turned photographer grandfather endless questions.
After several years in the fashion industry, she started her own photography business and returned to university to finish her Bachelor's degree in photography. In 2013 she fulfilled her life-long dream of moving to London, where she earned her Master's in Photography with Distinction from the University of the Arts London.
Casey works part time as a photographer in the imaging lab at Stanford University. She is also working on a PhD proposal and is looking for somewhere to present an immersive installation in California in 2016.
